Waikato Draught Premiership Week 1

Fraser Tech finished off Round 1 at the top of the standings to win the Ron Crawford Memorial trophy. The top 8 from the Senior Men’s Pool A & B from  Round 1 all compete in the newly formed Premiership for the chance to win the Waikato Breweries Shield. While the bottom 2, United Matamata Sports and University move across to join the top 6 from Pool C & D to form the Championship.

Lone Star Hamilton Championship Week 1

Leamington finished off Round 1 at the top of the Senior Men’s Pool C & D standings to win the WRRA Trophy. The top 6 of Pool C & D join the bottom 2 from Pool A & B to form the Championship and compete for the Lone Star Hamilton Cup.

Finally the 4 remaining teams from Pool C & D now make up a new division competing for the Mooloo Shield division.

Gallagher Women’s Premiership Week 6

Hamilton Old Boys continues to lead the Women’s division and now have a 6 point lead at the top and are the only undefeated side remaining in the competition. There is a log jam in the middle of the table with 3 teams locked on 10 points each vying for that important 4th position to play for the Gallagher Cup later this season.

Under 85kgs Week 6

All Under 85kgs teams are back in action this weekend. Morrinsville Sports remain undefeated in the competition and hold top spot in the standings with a 5 point buffer over 2nd place Melville but only 3 points separate 2nd and 5th.

Division 2 Week 5

Hamilton Old Boys undefeated season rolls on as the win streak continues, they sit at the top of the standings 5 points clear of 2nd place, Hamilton Marist. At the midway point of the season, only 6 points separates 2nd and 7th, so plenty of teams can still make the playoffs.

Colts Week 5

Only two teams remain undefeated in the Colts division as Hamilton Marist and Fraser Tech both top the standings with 20 points. Hautapu suffered their first defeat of the season last week but they continue to hold onto 3rd but trail the competition leaders by 4 points. However they do have Hamilton Boys High School right behind them in 4th on 15 points.
