Waikato Draught Premiership A Week 5 Kickoff 2.45pm A’s, 1.00pm B’s

Fraser Tech are the only remaining Premiership side yet to taste defeat this season and have successfully recorded 4 bonus point victories to sit at the top of the standings with 20 points. Hamilton Marist and Te Awamutu Sports are second equal with 14 points then there is a log jam between 4th and 8th, with only 2 points separating these teams. This weekend Fraser Tech will face their first challenge this season for the Stag Trophy when they host University, this match will also be a Ron Crawford Memorial Trophy challenge as well.

Gallagher Women’s Premiership Week 6 Kickoff 1.00pm

HOB Huskies and Kihikihi still remain undefeated in the Women’s Premiership and both have 25 points. HOB Huskies still remain the overall leaders due to their points differential. Meville have only suffered the single defeat and sit in 3rd place while Putaruru (4th), Hamilton Marist (5th) and Otorohanga (6th) are only separated by 3 points as they battle it out for a top 4 spot. HOB Huskies will be challenged by Taupiri for the Braden Coates Trophy.

Lone Star Rototuna Division 1 Week 6 Kickoff 2.45pm A’s, 1.00pm B’s

Southern United sit at the top of the standings as the only undefeated side in the division. They have a 5 point lead over 2nd place, Leamington and both sides square off this weekend in Cambridge. If Southern United win they will have a buffer over 2nd place but a bonus point victory for Leamington could see them go 1st equal.

Under 85kgs Week 5 Kickoff 1.00pm

Melville are the last remaining undefeated side in the Under 85kgs division and have a 2 point buffer over 2nd place Morrinsville Sports. Fraser Tech who handed Morrinsville Sports their first loss last weekend are in 3rd place a further 2 points behind. So only 4 points separates the top 3. Unfortunately Hamilton Old Boys due to unforeseen circumstances Hamilton Old Boys have had to pull out of the remainder of the competition leaving 6 teams to compete for the Don Shergold trophy.

Division 2 Week 1

Due to unforeseen circumstances the Division 2 competition restarts this weekend with only 6 clubs competing for the Alpha Hotel Cup.

Raglan v HOB Guzzlers - Raglan Sports Grounds

 

Colts Week 5 Kickoff 1.00pm

Only 3 teams remain undefeated in this division with Hamilton Marist (1st) and United Matamata Sports (2nd) both on 20 points at the top of the standings after securing 4 bonus points from the first 4 weeks of competition. Both sides are closely followed by Hautapu on 19 points who have only recorded 3 bonus point victories so far. Hamilton Marist are the overall division leaders due to their superior points differential.

PIC Insurance Brokers Women’s Development Series Week 4 Sunday 22nd May

The PIC Insurance Brokers Women’s Development Series moves into week 4 with United Matamata Sports continuing their undefeated series. All games will be played in Te Kuiti on Sunday.
